Professional Experience
I have spent most of the past decade practicing law as a solo attorney focusing on small businesses and the people who own them. In those years I have explored multiple areas of business across the State of Texas. While everyone’s needs are different, my approach remains the same – to bring every client a personalized plan to help them navigate the legal arena.
I have represented clients in the following industries:
- oil & gas
- construction
- engineering
- litigation support
- retail
- manufacturing
- automotive
- e-Commerce
Personal
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I attended college at the University of Texas in Austin where I was very active in the University community. While at the University, I was a member and later elected President of the Longhorn Off-Road Club. I also played lacrosse for the University of Texas Lacrosse Team.
Upon graduation, I attended law school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where I excelled in the areas of litigation and business law. I graduated from CWRU with honors in 2006 and have been practicing law since passing the bar later that year.
After graduating from law school, I returned to Houston, Texas, and married my college sweetheart, Courtney. I currently reside in Houston with Courtney and my three dogs Belle, Holli, and Jax (a cat that thinks of himself as a dog).
